Psychological counselling program for aggression reducing

Between February and July 2014 we run in Aiud Prison  two psychological assistance programs to reduce aggression to a total of 30 inmates from  Maximum Security Section which in the recent past have had reports of incidence for committing acts of violence. The programs were conducted by foundation’s psychologist Horea Nistor and foundation volunteer psychologist Ramona Balint, each leading one group.

The programs were conducted by foundation’s psychologist Horia Nistor and foundation volunteer psychologist Ramona Balint, each leading one group.

The program has the form of group counseling, with a length of 12 meetings each meeting lasting 90-120 min, with the awareness and understanding of the mechanisms and targets of aggression, anger management skill development, decrease the frequency and intensity of anger events and develop constructive skills expression of emotions.
