Psychological counselling program for sex offenders in Aiud Prison

Between February and July  2014 Rescue Humanitarian Foundation has run a psychological counselling program in Aiud Prison for a group of people in detention in the maximum security section who have committed facts with sexual connotations. 
            The philosophy of the program is adapted after Sex Offender Treatment Program – SOTP (Marshall &co 2001). The purpose of the program was to provide psychological support and assistance to persons who have committed sexual offenses, to reduce the risk of both sexual and general recidivism.
            The program was attend by 12 adult males definitively convicted for a penalty of a sexual nature, out of them 6  succeded to finish . The program included individual and group meetings each week with a total length of 6 months.
