Carols and holiday gifts during the whinter holiday season 2015
For Christmass , Rescue Humanitarian Foundation was present in six prisons in Romania. With the help of the christian brothers in Denmark, we prepared and distributed 910 family packs for abandoned detainees from: Arad Penitentiary outer section Women ,outer section Penitentiary Gherla Cluj, Targu Mures Penitentiary, Aiud Penitenciary, Arad Penitentiary and Prison Vaslui. Together with volunteers from nine local churches, with us was also Cristian Pantea, a romanian former prisoner who now lives in Germany and that the testimony his changed life, brought encouragement to us all. On December 5th, a group of collaborators of our foundation from Bethel Pentecostal Church Arad, visited the 60 imprisoned women who were also involved in our programs during 2015. On the 14th, we sang to the 180 women imprisoned in Prison of Cluj, with young volunteers from the Hope and Logos Pentecostal churches. There were soulmoments, full of emotion for Feast of the Nativity. At the end, participants also received a comprehensive package of hygiene effects , clothing and sweets. The next day, early in the morning we loaded packages for penitentiary Targu Mures and with young christians from Pentecostal Church Albinii Cluj, we went caroling. We had four meetings with singing, message and testimony of Cristi Pantea, who spoke about the joy of freedom in Christ, he having experience more holidays behind bars. There we left at Targu Mures 100 packages. On the 16th, we visited 220 detainees from Aiud, including the four groups participating in our programs of weekly study As in previous years, we sing at maximum safety and closed regime, lbringing the Jesus birth joy to every cell. This year we were joined by youth from Bethel Pentecostal Church Cluj. Also here, our volunteers from Elim Church Cluj have delivered 30 packages to the detainees who constantly participate in our programs for three years. From Aiud we went to Arad, where, the next day, we met with our local volunteers from Bethel church , accompanied by Sirion Singing Group, Lugoj. In the Maximum Security Penitentiary Arad we had three meetings with about 250 men unsought by the families. Again, carols, hymns, testimonies, poetry and message brought joy and hope in the lives of those present. On December 19, a group from Bethel Baptist Church in Barlad, visited 70 men in prison Vaslui. Pastor Marius Vaduva had a message of encouragement to those present and in the end each received a gift. Representatives of all the visited prisons , expressed their thanks to us and the Danish brothers for the each year involvement and commitment. We greet and bless all who contributed to the realization and distribution of Christmas packages in prisons.
