The joy of reunion with missionaries from Denmark

It's a blessing that we are always encouraged, as every year, with groups of missionaries from Denmark who visit Romania in order to get involved in the work promoted and carried out by "Rescue" Foundation Romania. This year also, a group of brothers with much experience in the ministry, were made available to God to be a blessing to churches in Romania and to inmates, to whom they shared the truth that God can restore life to everyone, regardless of background that someone had.

Thus, the first stop was Sunday, Sânnicoară Baptist Church, where the sincerity and the depth of the gospel that was shared, brought much encouragement and edification to the nearly 100 participants in worship. The second stop was Monday, October 10, in Targu Mures Penitentiary. The group of believers in Denmark has joined forces with a group of volunteers from Pentecostal Church "Bethel", Cluj Napoca. There were 3 meetings after which 60 inmates were able to taste the beauty of singing, fellowship, testimonies and the Gospel proclaimed with power. The third stop was Tuesday, October 11, in the Maximum Security Penitentiary Gherla, Cluj Outer Section. The two meetings were attended by 120 women detainees. And this time, the 'Rescue' volunteers were involved with the group, so Amalia Decean and Alex Cuibus completed fellowship with hymns and testimonies of what God worked in their lives. Brethren missionaries have proclaimed the message of freedom that these women have so much need. We pray for God's intervention and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in their lives. The fourth stop was Wednesday and Thursday, 12 and 13 October in Aiud Maximum Security Penitentiary. Accompanied by singers from the Army of God Church and the Baptist Church in Sânnicoară, our friends have supported 4 programs attended by 200 prisoners. The testimonies of our brothers marked the lives of several inmates who were able to identify with the life experiences that were spoken and understood the calling of our Lord Jesus Christ, so, they asked for the Good Savior to come over their lives . The fifth stop was Friday, October 14 in Maximum Security Penitentiary Arad. Also this time, the group "Sirion"from Arad, brought praise to God and have warmed the hearts of those present. During the three meetings, nearly 200 inmates had the opportunity to hear the gospel, thus life testimonies, past dark experiences and present bright experiences of the friends in Denmark were shared. All this was nourishment for mind to all who had ears to hear. We are honored and thankful for such partnerships. We want these meetings to be repeated as often and beyond our friendship, our fellow souls be comforted and restored by The One who can give a fresh start. Thanks also prison personnel who make these programs possible. Not least mention that we enjoy constant availability of our volunteers, who make time for those for whom the time passes so hard. Above all, pray that the Good Lord to change the lives of those who failed so badly and so need a fresh start.
