Danish friends visiting Romania Between 27th to 30th of april 2015, a group of five brothers from Denmark visited 500 detainees in various prisons in the country. It all began with Gherla Maximum Security Penitentiary, Cluj Cuter Section, where during two programs they met 150 women from different prison regimes. Also they were accompanied by a group of singers from the Army of God Church in Cluj. The presence of God was real in these meetings, participants being thouched through both the spoken word and songs raised to the glory of God. The next day, along with 13 young people from Bethel Pentecostal Church Cluj, the ministrie continued in Targu Mures Penitentiary for a group of 50 men imprisoned in the penitentiary. There were 3 meetings during which the message of Scripture, testimonies and songs softened the hearts of those present. The atmosphere of the Holy Spirit could be experienced by anyone willing to open their hearts to God. The third and the fourth day of the mission continued in Aiud Maximum Security Penitentiary. Together with young people from Bethany Baptist Church Cluj and youth from Elim Pentecostal Cluj Church, the meetings were full of spiritual and emotional significance. The first day were two meetings, the first of which was a reunion with people who have found God even while serving their sentence. Joy and emotional connection was felt to the full. Testimonies, encouragement and thanks from those present turned the atmosphere in the club room of the prison in a home where old friends reunited as a family. Afternoon meeting continued with a larger group of detainees, most of whom were first exposed to the Christian message. Although some were still concerned about their own activities, however, most have been touched by God's message. The second day three meetings were organized. Interest in the message, testimonies and singing was obviously. After all seats were occupied in the club room, there came another group of inmates who were forced to stand during the meeting. God's presence was felt personally, the audience was conquered by God's Spirit working through each word. The appreciation of the audience was made clear from the discussion and questions that came from it. We are grateful for the evidence of sacrifice and love of those who leave their families at home to take the gospel message to thousands kilometers away, may that The One who is Eternal, pour His blessings on themselves and their work. In the same time, we ask from The One who can change the times to be The One who will change every soul present in these meetings.
