A new life in Christ

On 13 September 2013 Rescue Foundation volunteers visited a total of 25 inmates from Aiud Maximum Security Prison.

A new life in Christ

My name is Ramona Bianca Balint and I’m part of volunteers from Elim Church Cluj with who I started going in Aiud to tell inmates about a new chance at life with God, the chance that we received and we, and about how God has redeemed us through the blood of Jesus Christ and gave us the choice to live a new life with Him.

The meeting included songs and prayers that have been joined by participants, followed by the proclamation of the gospel. There was a time when we served together juice, cake, and we tried to reply to the questions presented on.

At the end of the program spent with them, I was overwhelmed by an immense joy feeling so alive and useful in the work of God!

    I met you, in a place called “hell” and my sinful soul rejoiced when it got to know God and hear of His Love for humans, and of His great sacrifice -the only beloved Son. If God made this sacrifice for all people, my answer is that I want to be like you, not to be ashamed of myself, to become a child of God, to return Home to my Father, and to do what He wanted me to do.
