At the request of Aiud Prison psychologists, we have reissued an old project that was successful among all beneficiaries.

It consisted in the restoration of furniture for children and their donation to a rural kindergarten. This time at the project worked inmates of the Maximum Security Section, persons who by reason of enforcement regime, have different restrictions on work and leisure.

We donated materials needed and for several weeks, several inmates have sanded, painted and varnished. Then the painter from the unit, also a detainee, painted different figures and cartoons on refurbished furniture.

On 05,12,2014 they were donated to a kindergarten in Miraslau, on the Eve of Saint Nicholas,: receive gifts). The meeting was attended by the deputy prison officer,the priest from the prison and the Miraslau, mayor and local priest.

We as a foundation, we wanted to repair the image of the inmates in the eyes of the civil society and in the discussions we pointed out that once prisoners were wrong and now are paing for their actions, but they are people with feelings and the desire to do good, they happily getting involved in this project, knowing that will bring joy to children…
