School Supplies for underprivileged children in Pata Rat, Tureac and Sannicoara
Every year the Rescue Foundation offers school supplies to children who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Every year the Rescue Foundation offers school supplies to children who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. In September we offered help to 50 children from Pata Rat, Tureac and Sannicoara. The backpaks were filled with math, biology, music, geography and language notebooks. Also they had everything they needed to fill a pencil box: raser, sharpener, coloured and simple pens and a snack. Along with what they needed for school we also offered clothes and pillos in order for them to have some comfort in the colder period.
The project is running since 2011 with the help of our Danish collaboratores and was initiated in order to reduce the abandonment rate from the disadvantaged backgrounds. We are hoping that through these small gestures we we will help children have a better chance to education and a brighter future.
