Children attending the after-school program were glad to have contributed to the beautification of the park in the village where they live and go to school. Along with the volunteers coming from Denmark, they teamed up and started gathering all the mess, being a happy when they saw the cleanliness behind them.
After the children worked, they sang and played with the volunteers but also listened to a story about the greatest "superhero", Jesus, who can do anything for them and who died for their sins. In the end, the children were rewarded with sweets and a ball.
The Rescue Foundation's after-school program is designed to help children who come from families with precarious living to integrate into society and develop practical skills.
We thank the 12 volunteers from the Bible School in Denmark for their involvement and we want God to bless them for giving up their comfort to give joy to children who are marginalized. We want the Lord to reach their lives through the example given and to change their future.
