March 8 at the Rescue Foundation

The date of 8 March was a special day for 10 women prisoners of custody in the Gherla Penitentiary, the Cluj-Napoca External Section. They spent two hours with Rescue Foundation volunteers.

We tried to organize a special day for 10 women in custody of the Gherla Penitentiary, so at the Rescue Foundation we arranged a special decoration and invited Sister Dorina Tartamus who shared it to women in my personal life and what it means to be a woman to please God.

The second part of the program consisted of free discussion where the women present at the meeting could discuss with the 6 volunteers from the Elim Pentecostal Church Cluj-Napoca after they ate together.

In the end, the classic gift of 8 March, a flower and Christian literature, was also given.

"Thank God for this wonderful day and for a day in freedom" was the statement of one of the women deprived of liberty who was at the organized meeting.

We pray that this activity would have had a positive impact on the lives of the present women and God will change their lives and turn them into women at His liking.

    I met you, in a place called “hell” and my sinful soul rejoiced when it got to know God and hear of His Love for humans, and of His great sacrifice -the only beloved Son. If God made this sacrifice for all people, my answer is that I want to be like you, not to be ashamed of myself, to become a child of God, to return Home to my Father, and to do what He wanted me to do.
