Finish the program "People with a dignified demeanor"

The beginning of 2015 was also the beginning of a new program developed in Aiud Maximum Security Penitentiary. For four months we wanted to understand what is dignity, its value and how it can be acquired.

Finish the program "People with a dignified demeanor"
In a world with officials without dignity, with promoted figures without dignity, we wanted us to become "People with a dignified demeanor." The program was held simultaneously and weekly in four sections of this prison. More than 40 inmates have participated in the program and the majority of the participants chose to do significant changes to regain personal dignity. During these meetings our soul often wept when we were forced to look at ourselves in the mirror of our past stripped of dignity, yet our hearts were filled with hope when we understood that dignity is recoverable and can be achieved despite any wrongs from the past. Hoping in the Good Lord, we live with the confidence that every soul will be filled with dignity and fight for its preservation, in order to be known by all as "people with a dignified demeanor."

  • My sinful soul rejoice when it got to know God

    I met you, in a place called “hell” and my sinful soul rejoiced when it got to know God and hear of His Love for humans, and of His great sacrifice -the only beloved Son. If God made this sacrifice for all people, my answer is that I want to be like you, not to be ashamed of myself, to become a child of God, to return Home to my Father, and to do what He wanted me to do.
