“Only the power of His Word can change the hearts and the lives of the inmates”

My name is Francisc U, born on September 23, 1976 in Timisoara and I grew up in orphanages from all around the country ever since. I have a 10 year sentence due to my shallow way of living and many other things I shouldn't have done as a free man.

I've served almost 3 years of the 10 year sentence in the most horrible prisons in Romania and I can tell you now that I give glory and praise to our God for all His care and love He shows me and to all those who really belong to Him. 
 
         Now I realize that nothing happens by chance with every soul that is here in prison; God has a purpose, a well defined plan. Only the power of His Word can change the hearts and the lives of the inmates. I am very glad for the fellowship I have with you, with the guests from Denmark and with the youth group that sings every time you come here and I wish for this time to never end while I am in prison. The messages, the testimonies and the songs moved my heart to tears. I thank you in the name of our Lord Jesus for the love and affection you show us and I hope you receive all the heavenly blessings. 
          In this life full of emptiness, the most important thing for me is the fact that I chose Jesus to be my Lord and my best friend, a friend who never changes. I know that the most valuable thing I can always keep in my heart and nobody can take from me is God. May the seed of the faith from my heart bring fruit, and give me a spirit of gentleness in the way I speak, patience and the ability to show love at all times, even when hated.

         The Lord's promise will come true: the Lord is coming! May the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ give us peace and love among us, the sincere desire for salvation and help us daily walk successfully in the great battle for the redemption of our souls, crucifying and burying forever ignorance, selfishness, hatred, strife and all the other iniquities that threaten our being. 

         We give thanks to God who takes us in His victory carriage in Christ because He gives us the power to face our daily challenges and burdens. I pray for you – from the foundation, from Denmark and for the volunteers involved in evangelism that Lord Jesus will give you the strength and victory to come back to us and bring the message from our Lord Jesus. I would like to keep in touch with you through letters to be encouraged.

    Thank you for sustaining and for encouraging me through the biblical courses you had . Not so long time ago I was interned in Colibasi Penitentiary, but I've never doubted the Word of God, because I knew that God was all the time with me, and when I prayed I gave him thanks for everything.

  • My sinful soul rejoice when it got to know God

    I met you, in a place called “hell” and my sinful soul rejoiced when it got to know God and hear of His Love for humans, and of His great sacrifice -the only beloved Son. If God made this sacrifice for all people, my answer is that I want to be like you, not to be ashamed of myself, to become a child of God, to return Home to my Father, and to do what He wanted me to do.
